Abby started her dance training when she was only 3 years old. Following in her older sister’s footsteps, she quickly found that it was her passion. She trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz,  Contemporary, and Tumbling at Studio 50 Gym, Dance, and Cheer Center. There, she was on both the competition dance team and competition cheer team, eventually cheering at the collegiate level with Kaskaskia College. She also attended dance conventions such as Dupree and Tremaine in her time with Studio 50. When she was in high school, she started teaching Tap, Jazz, and Ballet, choreographing multiple dance routines. She taught dance for 4 years until transferring to Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. While attending SEMO, she choreographed multiple Hip-Hop routines for the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Abby graduated from SEMO with a Bachelors in General Studies, and is currently working as the Social Media Strategist for Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc in Edwardsville. She is so excited to be a part of The Beat Faculty and can’t wait to teach all the eager, young dancers!
