Ashley Geile

Ashley danced in the scholarship training program at EDGE Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, CA with renowned teachers and choreographers who have danced and choreographed for “So You Think You Can Dance”, film, television, and concert tours. She earned bachelor’s degrees in Dance and Marketing from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. While attending Lindenwood, Ashley received the University Dance Department awards: “Dancer of the Year” (chosen by the dance faculty) and “Best Work Ethic” (chosen by fellow students). Her choreography has been selected to perform at numerous St. Louis events including St. Louis Dancing in the Streets festival with her piece “Get To Know Me” (a lyrical contemporary dance), St. Louis National Dance Week celebration at Union Station with her piece “The Heist” (an athletic contemporary dance), and pre-show entertainment at the St. Louis Spring to Dance festival with her piece “50 Toe Orchestra” (a tap dance). Ashley interned at the St. Louis Tap Festival and worked as a dance “extra” in the season one finale of the show “Bunheads” on ABC Family. She has also been a dancer/model for Paul Mitchell the School – St. Louis hair shows. Since opening The Beat, she has won multiple special judges awards and choreography awards including Compass (2016) and Live Like Legends (2019). To further her teaching education even more, Ashley attended the DanceLife Teacher Conference by Rhee Gold in Arizona. Miss Ashley says, "I am so proud of all of our students. The Beat is a dream come true!"
