Sarah started her dance training on Central High School's dance team. Soon she was choreographing their routines, as well as Jazz and Pom routines for De Soto’s dance team. While in high school, she also danced in the high school's musicals and cheered on the football cheerleading squad. When The Beat opened, Sarah joined the competition team, training in Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary. She attended Dupree Dance Conventions and spent a week training with Lehrer Dance company at SIUE. Since then, Sarah has choreographed musicals for Central High School and Clinton County Showcase. Sarah graduated from SIUE with her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and now teaches at Marine Elementary. She is so excited to return to the Beat, this time as faculty!
